What is the difference between GTM Template and Scout?

GTM Template only collects client-side data and is vulnerable to ad blockers. Scout combines client-side and server-side data for richer, more reliable data. It automatically collects user data needed for Enhanced Conversions.

What is sGTM (Server-side GTM) and why should I use it?

sGTM is the server-side version of Google Tag Manager. Data is sent to Google through your own server. It is immune to ad blockers but requires server costs and technical setup.

What is Google Ads Gateway?

Gateway is Google's own server-side solution. It is configured through Google Tag Manager and uses Google's infrastructure. It is free but only works with Google services, you cannot send data to other platforms.

How do Enhanced Conversions work?

Enhanced Conversions hashes user email or phone with SHA-256 and sends it to Google. Google matches this hash with its own data to enable cookie-independent conversion tracking.

Is Consent Mode v2 mandatory?

Yes, it has been mandatory for users in the EU and UK since March 2024. It is also recommended under Turkey's KVKK framework. Scout and sGTM manage these signals automatically.

Which e-commerce platforms do you support?

How long does setup take?
